Expertas, was founded in February 2002 by key members of the Information Systems staff of a major retail supplier. The supplier was an early adopter of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software and was a co-development partner of the ERP vendor’s Sales Order Management Module. The firm also served as a co-development partner for the vendor’s Business Intelligence (BI) Solution in October, 2000. The following year, the firm integrated the BI solution with document management and workflow software to produce an award-winning Engineering Management Solution. Expertas’ CEO, Anthony F. Souza, led this effort on behalf of the vendor.

Expertas has provided Information Assurance,  IT and Physical Security, Application Development and Software Configuration services to numerous clients across both government and private enterprise.

Currently, Expertas is actively engaged with the Naval Sea Systems Command providing Information Assurance for one of the largest ERP implementations ever. This effort includes security at all layers (physical, network, operating system, database, application, and Internet.)
